The book is about football, fatherhood and College GameDay Saturdays. In the book Kirk shares his life - the dark moments, the trying moments, the triumphant moments, and the moments that define who you are and what you can become.

Kirk is stopping by while he's in town and spending time with fellow Buckeyes and sharing college football memories and Out of the Pocket's message. Kirk and Gene are both passionate about the book's message and how it can impact other's lives. Kirk shares the insight he's learned from the likes of coaches and players such as Nick Saban, Tim Tebow, Dabo Swinney and Peyton Manning. But most interesting to Buckeye fans, Kirk shares many intimate stories on what it was like growing up as a son of a Ohio State football captain dreaming to one day be a Buckeye, being a high school star in Ohio and his challenging journey to becoming an Ohio State football captain his senior season.
