It's the Best of Broadway at Symphony Park!
The Charlotte Buckeyes be gathering on Sunday, June 23 for a night of Broadway's best loved show tunes, to hear selections from The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Grease, Les Miz, Oklahoma, Wicked and The Music Man.
The main event - the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Christopher James Lees, begins at
8:15 pm, but we'll get blankets down about 5:30 to get a good spot. Hear the warm-up event at 7:00.
Bring a picnic dinner (although you can purchase concessions at Reid's Fine Foods store at the top of the park until 8:00)
Don't forget your favorite beverage - that you can enjoy in a free custom-made Script Ohio stemless wine/beverage glass - given to each attendee. Add a blanket and LOW-back beach chair, and you're ready for this family-friendly event!
Look for the Scarlet and Grey balloons flying above our spot when you arrive!
A limited number of advanced tickets are available for $14.00 per person, which includes the free beverage glass. Tickets on the day of the concert are $15.
Tickets will be waiting for you at Will-Call - tell them you are with the Charlotte Buckeyes.
