Alumni clubs offer you an outlet for support and guidance while at Ohio State. Whether you’re on campus or spending time back home, know that we’re here for you.
The Charlotte Buckeyes supports students from the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan area through the following:
- CONNECTION
Students and their families can meet other North/South Carolina students headed to Columbus, as well as Ohio State alumni living in the Carolinas, at special student events and football game watches.
- MENTORSHIP
Our alumni love to help Ohio State students. We would love to introduce you to alumni with shared interests and/or fields of study. Ohio State alumni work in diverse industries and we love to hire Ohio State interns whenever we can.
- SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Each year, the Charlotte Buckeyes look to award scholarships to Charlotte area students who are entering The Ohio State University as freshman students.
- MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
The Charlotte Buckeyes provide free memberships to the Charlotte Buckeye Alumni Club to Ohio State Students from the Charlotte metropolitan area. Students also receive free admittance to Charlotte Buckeye Events such as our Annual Summer Picnic/Student Send-Off at Lake Norman.

Students are encouraged to register for FREE at the www.charlottebuckeyes.com website. That way, you will be kept up to-date on Charlotte Buckeye activities that you can take advantage of when you are back in town.
